Welcome to Peony Childcare Center. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the PeonyKids mobile application (“the App”) and the services provided by Peony Childcare Center (“the Center”). By accessing the App or enrolling in the Center, you agree to comply with these Terms.
Peony Childcare provides childcare services focused on the safety, development, and well-being of children under our care. To complement these services, the PeonyKids app offers features that allow parents and guardians to stay informed about their child’s activities, including real-time updates on naps, meals, physical activities, and general well-being. The app also provides daily reports, facilitates secure check-in and check-out, and serves as a communication tool between the Center and families.
By enrolling your child in the Center or using the App, you acknowledge that the services offered are designed to enhance the childcare experience, both in-person and digitally
The App is intended for use by parents and guardians who have registered with the Center. To use the App, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and ensuring that they are not shared with unauthorized individuals.
The App must only be used for its intended purposes. Any attempt to misuse, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the App's functionality is strictly prohibited. PeonyKids reserves the right to terminate access to the App if these Terms are violated.
Peony is committed to protecting your privacy. By using the App and enrolling in the Center, you consent to the collection and use of your data as described in our Privacy Policy. This includes information provided during registration, child activity data logged within the App, and usage data collected to improve the App’s functionality.
Child activity data, such as logs of naps, meals, and check-in and check-out times, is collected as part of the Center’s operational requirements. While you may delete your account and data through the App, data related to your child’s activities may be retained until they are unenrolled from the Center. Once unenrolled, the data will be permanently deleted upon request.
Peony does not share your personal data or activity data with third parties.
As a parent or guardian, you are responsible for providing accurate information during enrollment and keeping us informed of any changes to your contact details or your child’s needs. This ensures that we can provide appropriate care and maintain effective communication.
You also agree to comply with the Center’s policies, including drop-off and pick-up procedures, health and safety requirements, and any updates communicated by the Center. The App is a tool to support your experience with the Center, but it does not replace direct communication with our staff when urgent or specific needs arise.
Fees for childcare services are outlined in your enrollment agreement with the Center. Payments must be made in accordance with the agreed schedule to avoid disruption of services.
The PeonyKids app is currently included as part of the childcare service. If any future features or updates require additional fees, this will be clearly communicated, and your continued use of such features will constitute acceptance of the associated costs.
WAll content and features of the PeonyKids app, including its design, functionality, and trademarks, are the property of PeonyKids or its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use the App solely for its intended purposes. Any reproduction, modification, or distribution of the App's content without prior authorization is prohibited.
Peony strives to provide a safe and reliable childcare environment and app experience. However, to the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services or the App.
We are not responsible for issues caused by circumstances beyond our control, such as technical failures, interruptions, or third-party network errors.
We reserve the right to update these Terms to reflect changes in our services, the App, or legal requirements. Changes will be communicated through email or in-app notifications. By continuing to use our services or the App after updates are made, you agree to the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from these Terms, the Center’s services, or the App will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Nigeria.
